Build the idea around one shot
Think of Muse AI’s 10 seconds as one shot. You could start with a close-up of a product turning slowly. Write what should move; if a photo defines the look of the scene, add it as your starting image.
What to know before generating
- Duration
- 10 seconds; this model has no alternative duration setting.
- Starting input
- A text prompt, optionally accompanied by one reference image.
- Image file
- PNG / JPEG / WebP; up to 10 MB.
- Framing
- 16:9 landscape / 9:16 portrait / 1:1 square.
- Resolution
- Determined automatically; no 720p or 1080p selector in the form.
- Other references
- No video or audio uploads. No separate end-frame input.
Use an image as the start of the movement
A reference image guides the appearance of the scene. Instead of describing the entire image again, explain what should move and how the camera should behave. For a product shot, you could ask for a slow rotation with a locked camera and an unchanged background.
Muse AI accepts one image. If you need separate start and end frames, motion from an existing video or your own audio reference, choose a model whose generation form supports those inputs.
What happens in the generation screen?
Write your prompt in the Muse AI form and add a photo if you have one. Choose 9:16 for a phone screen or 16:9 for a wide shot. Square output uses 1:1. Each generation is 10 seconds long.
Check the current credit cost on the generation button before submitting. This guide does not promise a fixed price or completion time. Track the task in the generation screen, then preview and download the completed result.
Questions about Muse AI
- How do I animate a photo without moving the camera?
- Name what should move, then describe the camera separately: “Locked camera. Only the curtains move gently in the breeze.” Avoid also asking for a zoom or an orbit in the same prompt. Some camera movement may still appear in the result.
- Can I turn my photo into a moving video?
- Yes. Upload one photo up to 10 MB and describe what should move. Muse AI creates a 10-second shot from it. You can also describe a scene without using a photo.
- Can I make vertical videos for Reels and TikTok?
- Yes. Choose 9:16 for a vertical video. Use 16:9 for landscape or 1:1 for a square post.
- What should I write to get the shot I want?
- Describe the scene and the movement you want to see. For example: “Locked camera. A perfume bottle on a table slowly rotates.” Focus on one shot rather than asking for many events at once.
- What can I try if the first result is not what I wanted?
- Simplify your prompt and describe the movement you want to change more clearly. If you are using a photo, you can also try one taken from a different angle. Check the credit cost before starting another generation.
